Don't wait for the rain. Just spray the roof with a high pressure water pump and you will see if everything its ok.

bad news..I tried with a hose pipe and some water did come it, I don't know how it will be with the rain, but heavy rain will certainly come in!
Here is how the join looks like...I think there's no room to fit something under that :bye:
